Cotswold village of Kingscote
|
Highlights of this walk
- Pretty Costswold villages
- Rolling green hills and vales
- Woodland scenery
- Traditional wildflowers
Visitors come from around the world to enjoy that classic
beauty of the Cotswolds, but this section is off the main
tourist trails. It may lack publicised attractions but it
lacks nothing for attractiveness. On this walk you will see
wildflower meadows, traditional beech woodland. cottages and
whole villages build of Cotswold stone - and the sheer prettiness
of classic Cotswolds scenery.
|
Safety and Difficulty
At just under 5 miles long, this walk offers
few challenges to modertately fit walkers. There are some steep
sections, but the worst is the hill back up to the start point
- so a rest will follow! Some sections may be muddy.
